2 In 1 Foam Underlayment Installation Instructions

Before installing the 2 in 1 foam underlayment make sure that the subfloor must be sufficiently level and firm (this product may not be used to level out unevenesses of more than 1/8"). Always install a 4 to 6 mill PE moisture barrier prior to using this foam if the laminate floor is to be installed over a concrete slab. The foam must be installed with the LDPE (shiny) side facing up.

Don't forget to leave enough space between the carbonized bamboo hardwood floors and the other surface, giving the carbonined Horizontal t-molding a place where it can expand and contract. First thing you need to do is to lay the Carbonized Horizontal Bamboo T-Molding in place to determine proper fit. To attach the Carbonized Horizontal Bamboo T-Molding between a ceramic tile floor and hardwood floor, apply a 1/4 inch bead of wood adhesive to the top edge of the surface (can be any flooring type). Put the molding in place, making sure that you have a minimum of a 1/4 inch molding overlap on the wood flooring, including an expansion space between the Bamboo Carbonized Horizontal T-Molding and the wood floor to handle expansion or contraction.

For best results:

Always test in an inconspicuous section of the floor before use. Coverage should be 500 square feet per bottle. Do not apply the product too thin or streaking will occur. Coat the entire floor to ensure an even appearance.

Caution:

Bona Hardwood Floor Polish cannot be coated with polyurethane or Bona Hardwood Floor Refresher. Bona Hardwood Floor Polish is NOT a cleaner. Make sure the floor is completely clean and dry before applying this product. Do not use over any floor that has been oiled or waxed. Wax and oil may prevent this product from adhering. Always use a clean applicator. Use of contaminated applicator may cause a hazy or streaky appearance. Never use string mops, cotton mops or sponge mops to apply this product.


Avoid replacement of furniture and floor mats for at least 24 hours. Not for use on unfinished wood or unsealed floors. Keep from freezing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause stomach irritation. If swallowed, drink 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute. In case of eye contact, flush with water. Once the molding is in place, the interlocking floor can be installed out from this point. To install the Carbonized Horizontal Bamboo Stair Nose Moulding, apply one or two 1/4 inch beads of construction adhesive to the subfloor and seat the moulding in place If nailing, pre-drill the Carbonized Bamboo moulding to prevent splitting and nail to the subfioor. To assure a flat surface in any glue down installation, it is recommend that the moulding be taped to the floor while the glue is setting up.
